Yaaas-lie here! This week for Foundation Friday I am going go over my thoughts on the new(ish) Blur Liquid from Milk Makeup. Milk is one of those super trendy brands with the super artistically simple packaging and millennials are losing their g-d minds over it.
Leslie here!! I hope your week is going just PEACHY. It’s time again for another #FoundationFriday, and this week I am going to get all up in that Peaches and Cream!
I have been really failing on my ‘no-buy’, and Too Faced’s Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation was first on my list to try! As a lover of the Sweet Peach palette, I was actually not very excited about a lot of the Peaches and Cream Collection. Maybe I’m too old to appreciate the cutesy packaging. But packaging aside, I have seen rave reviews on this particular piece of the line! So let’s see if it is peach PERFECT!
Leslie here!! I am so excited to …announce? Yeah sure- let’s announce!!
I will be starting a Foundation Friday series, where a foundation review will be posted on the blog every Friday! Now – this is not a new concept, I did not invent this, and many of my favorite gurus do some sort of foundation Friday. But! Foundation and skincare are my favorite categories to explore, so this is honestly more for me than it is for you 🙂
The First Foundation Friday is from Fenty Beauty! For F’s sake. And unless you are living under a rock in the beauty world, this will be the 1415646th review you’ve seen. So let’s go! POST HASTE! Continue reading
Leslie here with another foundation review!
Being skin care obsessed means I’m also pretty into trying ALL the foundations. I want to perfectly compliment my skincare routine and show off the fruits of my labor! This new(ish) foundation from Bare Minerals has a TON of claims – and kind of mixed reviews – so let’s get into it!
Listen. I know this is the 5000th review of this palette- but they are ALL different and I don’t know who to even trust out there in beauty land anymore. So I was in Ulta the other day, had a merchandise credit (that you can’t use online, wtf is that about), saw this thing out on the shelves and was all “sure, I’ll try it”. AND HERE WE ARE.
So strap in because it’s Leslie here with her thoughts on the Subculture palette!
Estee Lauder Double Wear is one of my favorite foundations. I know I can always rely on it to give me decent coverage, natural finish, and last ALL DAY. However, I do love a lighter coverage foundation, so I was super excited to try the new Double Wear Nude! I’ve got some thoughts and comparisons, so let’s check this puppy out. Continue reading
Leslie here! Have you missed me??
I know I’ve been slacking on this blogeroni, but I’ve actually been kind of boring lately. I’ve been on a ‘no buy’, and just trying to use up the products I already have in my stash. It’s kind of satisfying finishing something! And getting to use an entire product to the end, you get a clearer picture of what the product can offer you. I am really loving my skin these days, and I think its due to the combination of products (and consistency!) that I have been using.
These are some of the things I am PLEASED about having to completely use up. As well as a few (ok a lot of) items that I have recently used up (with mini reviews!) Let’s go! Continue reading
